The 41.5-mm-diameter steel case, with laterally hollowed lugs, which together with the case middle house satin-finished work contrasting with the polish of the entire case, and pushers integrated into the crown protectors, reflects this philosophy impeccably. The introduction of the tachymeter scale, usually associated with sports watches, here becomes an expedient to enhance Czapek’s craftsmanship and refined design.
This fundamental element of this watch, is not only a functional complication, but also a visual reminder of the golden era of motor racing and aviation. Designed to measure speed and distance with a chronograph, this scale remains a symbol of precision and adventure.
As the CEO pointed out, today its practical utility may be limited, but the appeal of the speedometer lies in its ability to evoke the spirit of racing and provide a unique experience on the wrist.
The dial of the Faubourg de Cracovie Crossroads, is a dynamic work of art; Czapek collaborated with Metalem, a leading dial manufacturer, to create a new guilloché motif called Crossroads. This reinterpretation of the “Double Soleil” guilloché features straighter, deeper, and more widely spaced lines, reminiscent of tire treads and alluding to the sporty nature of the watch.
Curious is the way in which the maison wanted to convey balance and symmetry on the interface of this timepiece, trying to create a bi-compax dial, “hiding” the third counter at 6 o’clock at the expense, however, of legibility made difficult by the guilloché workmanship. The applied indexes and“arrow” style hands are clearly visible aided also by the SuperLuminova luminescent material.
The dial is available in two variants: Deep Blue and Secret Alloy. The Deep Blue version offers a bold contrast with light-colored subdials, while the Secret Alloy dial features a monochromatic gray hue that plays with the nuances of the raw material. The strap to match comes in two types, alligator or alcantara.
The Secret Alloy dial is made from an alloy of precious metals, including platinum, gold, silver, and palladium, which gives intense reflections and a sophisticated texture; it is available in a limited edition of 50 pieces, while the Deep Blue version has no production limit.

Equipped with a column wheel and vertical coupling, the caliber ensures smooth and precise operation of chronograph functions. The high frequency of 5Hz (36,000 vibrations per hour) allows time to be measured to one-tenth of a second accuracy, offering stability and sturdiness that are ideal even for demanding sports activities.
The finish of the movement is a celebration of craftsmanship: the bridges are sandblasted and diamond-polished, while the winding rotor is made of 18K rose gold, creating an elegant color contrast.
