In 2024, Jaeger-LeCoultre continues to redefine excellence in watchmaking with the introduction of new models in the celebrated Reverso Tribute line, highlighting the versatility and timeless modernity of this iconic Art Deco design.

The Reverso is one of the world’s most recognizable watches, created in 1931 with the aim of withstanding the hard knocks of polo matches. Throughout its more than 90-year history, it has evolved without ever losing its essence, moving from a purely sporting purpose to becoming a symbol of style and sophistication.

New additions this year include four new versions of the multifaceted timepiece; the Tribute Monoface (with two different dial versions), the Tribute Duoface Tourbillon, and the Tribute Duoface Small Seconds.

The new Reverso Tribute Monoface

With the introduction of the Reverso Tribute line in 2016, Jaeger-LeCoultre paid homage to the original 1931 design, characterized by understated elegance. The dial of the Reverso Tribute is defined by distinctive details such as trapezoidal hour markers,“chemin de fer” minute track, and Dauphine hands.

One of this year’s major novelties is the new version of the Reverso Tribute Monoface, which debuts in a revamped size dedicated to both men’s and women’s wrists. With a steel case measuring 40.1 x 24.4 mm and a slim thickness of 7.56 mm, this model offers a perfect balance between comfort and style, fitting perfectly on any wrist.

The smooth, unadorned caseback design provides an ideal canvas for personalized engravings, allowing the wearer to express his or her individuality. The hand-wound movement(Caliber 822) ensures precision and efficiency, while the dial is available in two versions: opaline silvered or blue lacquered with a soleil finish.

The collaboration with Casa Fagliano is reflected in the straps, which offer a combination of contrasting textures between smooth leather and saffiano, with four additional colors available to customize the watch to suit the occasion.

The new Reverso Tribute Duoface Tourbillon

Jaeger-LeCoultre also presents a new version of the Reverso Tribute Duoface Tourbillon, now available in steel. This model represents a perfect synthesis of watchmaking tradition and technological innovation. The Duoface concept, first introduced in 1994, makes it possible to display two dials with different time zones, driven by the same movement.

The central element of this model is the tourbillon, visible on both dials, a real engineering challenge that required a rethinking of the traditional mechanism.

Thanks to the elimination of the upper bridge and the use of a peripheral ball bearing system, Caliber 847 is only 3.9 mm thick, making the entire watch extremely slim and refined.

The front dial, gray with a soleil finish, contrasts elegantly with the skeletonized back, hand-decorated by artisans at Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Métiers RaresTM atelier.

The new Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds

The third novelty is the Reverso Tribute Duoface Small Seconds, reinterpreted in 18K rose gold. The main dial, lacquered blue, is made by superimposing as many as 20 layers of lacquer, offering a depth of color that contrasts beautifully with the warm hue of the rose gold.

On the second dial, however, the silvered soleil-finished back houses a day/night indicator on 24-hour at 6 o’clock, along with a second time zone display. This is enhanced by double applied hour markers that enhance the symmetry and overall design of the dial.

Thanks to a small slider hidden at the top of the case, it is possible to adjust the time display of the second time zone shown in the auxiliary dial.

The hand-wound Caliber 854, which brings the watch to life, is a masterpiece of engineering and is entirely designed and manufactured in the Jaeger-LeCoultre Manufacture.
