Watches & Wonders 2022 returns to Geneva for the first edition in real-life attendance after the start of the pandemic. From March 30 to April 5 the most important brands will parade at the Palexpo of the city of watchmaking.
The idea for this edition was to create a hybrid between online and offline, giving all fans around the world the opportunity to participate. There will be keynotes, watch presentations, debates and much more, which can be attended in person or via the W&W 2022 platform.
Our advice is to find a fast and stable connection if you participate in the online edition, as there have been numerous technical problems displaying presentations during the past year, which we hope have been solved this year.
The brands exhibiting at Watches & Wonders 2022 in Geneva
This year’s fair will bring together 39 brands, including 24 Exhibiting Brands and 15 Carré Des Horlogers. As you can see from the list below, almost all the most important brands in the industry will gather during this week, with the exception of a few that have for some time gone through an independent path of releases scattered throughout the year.
Fans of the big brands will be able to discover Rolex novelties of 2022, those of Patek Philippe, as well as those of Tudor, while the most demanding purists and collectors will be able to discover various niche brands such as A.Lange & Sohne or Van Cleef & Arpels.
For lovers of independent watchmakers there will instead be a specially designed section, which I would consider the niche of the niche, namely the Carré Des Horlogers. 15 brands including Armin Strom, Czapek, Moser and many others, will present their new watches during the fair. If you are looking for something unconventional, this is the right place to visit.
The program
The program will be available in the weeks prior to the start of Watches & Wonders Geneva, where it will be possible to register for the presentations you wish to attend. The platform will then allow for an integrated calendar to be able to clearly follow all the selected presentations.
The prevention measures against Covid-19
We would like to think we can rest easy after 2 years of pandemic but now is not the time yet. As always, the prevention rules against the spread of Covid-19 must be carefully observed, which you can find at this link.
