When it comes to the Olympic Games, OMEGA is always a gold medalist in chronographs dedicated to the event. However, this time I’m not going to tell you about the latest news from the Maison but about the announcement regarding the opening of OMEGA House at the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. In short, the link between the Swiss Maison and Olympism is enriched with a new, significant chapter.

Indeed, 2026 will mark OMEGA’s 32nd participation as Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games, a partnership that began back in 1932 in Los Angeles. Since then, Biel’s brand has not only measured the time of competitions, but has progressively redefined its meaning, introducing technologies that have forever changed the way sport is experienced and understood. Precision photofinish, touch sensors, stopwatches capable of detecting the thousandth of a second: behind every athletic gesture immortalized in Olympic history, there is often a technical solution signed OMEGA.

In this context, the OMEGA House represents much more than a “hospitality” operation. It is the physical and cultural translation of a relationship that goes beyond sponsorship. After the success of the summer editions of London 2012, Rio 2016 and Paris 2024, the brand is inaugurating a winter version of this exclusive space for the first time, choosing Milan as the ideal stage. A choice that is anything but random.

The venue identified-the Cracco restaurant in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II-is one of the symbolic places of Italian elegance. The Galleria, with its glass and iron dome, marble floors, and natural light passing through it, is a monument to time understood as historical continuity, beauty that endures the ages, and the ability to renew itself without losing identity. Values that resonate deeply with OMEGA’s DNA.

From February 7 to 21, 2026, the café on the ground floor will be transformed into the“OMEGA Café by Cracco,” an open and recognizable place where the brand’s visual identity will dialogue with Carlo Cracco’s signature gastronomic excellence. The upper floors, on the other hand, will become an authentic winter Olympic retreat, reserved for athletes, ambassadors and selected guests: lounges for relaxation, spaces for lunches and dinners, screens to follow live competitions, and evening events designed to celebrate the Olympic spirit in an intimate and refined atmosphere.

This is not the first time OMEGA has built an experiential ecosystem around the Games. Over the years, OMEGA House has welcomed personalities who embody excellence in their respective fields: from Michael Phelps to Cindy Crawford, from Nicole Kidman to Daniel Craig. Different figures united by a common denominator: the ability to turn talent into performance, time into storytelling.

As OMEGA President and CEO Raynald Aeschlimann points out, this new edition reflects “authentic Italian elegance and spirit,” but above all it testifies to the brand’s desire to experience the Games from the inside, sharing its energy, emotions and human value. At a time when many sports partnerships risk appearing detached or purely commercial, OMEGA continues to invest in a concrete, tangible presence, almost artisanal in its approach.

The involvement of Carlo Cracco, Friend of the Brand, further reinforces this message. The chef talks about time, precision, the pursuit of excellence: terms that belong as much to haute cuisine as to haute horology. It is a parallelism that works because it is authentic, because it is based on a shared vision in which time is not an enemy to be beaten, but a resource to be interpreted and enhanced.

Milan-Cortina 2026 will thus be a key moment to reaffirm OMEGA’s Olympic legacy. But also an opportunity to look to the future. Winter disciplines, with their extreme speeds and complex environmental conditions, represent an ongoing technical challenge. Every second recorded, every performance validated, is the result of decades of research and innovation.

In short, the OMEGA House is not just a meeting place, but a manifesto. It tells a nearly 100-year history of absolute precision, trust earned in the field, and a relationship with sport that goes far beyond the stopwatch. In Milan, OMEGA reaffirms that Olympic time is not just measured: it is lived. And, like any great tradition, it continues to evolve without losing its soul.
