The design of the new Hublot Classic Fusion Boutique Pisa 1940
As anticipated, the star of this collaboration is the famous Hublot model, the Classic Fusion, reinterpreted with an all-Italian sensibility thanks to the contribution of the Vittorio Carena Studio. Taking center stage, we find a blue Sunray dial that captures the essence of the majestic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, one of the most beloved symbols of Lombardy’s capital city. Every detail is designed to reflect the harmony of the architectural forms, creating a perfect balance between the classicism of Milan and the bold innovation of Hublot.
The result? A 42 mm diameter watch that becomes a hymn to the fusion of past and future, tradition and modernity, just like Hublot’sArt of Fusion philosophy, where different materials, cultures, and ideas come together to create unique creations.
As Chiara Pisa, managing director of Pisa 1940, points out, the goal was to create a unique timepiece: “We wanted to create a watch that fully reflected Hublot’s DNA, but at the same time was consistent with our spirit and that of Milan. Clean, sharp forms and discreet personalization: we chose to remove the date window to respect the integrity of the architectural reference on the one hand and to be consistent with the minimalism that characterizes us.” A bold choice that allows the focus to be on the architecture of the dial, transforming the watch into a true visual tribute to the city.
Like any self-respecting piece of art, this special edition is available in an extremely limited run: only 25 pieces in total, distributed in three exclusive variants: 10 models in black ceramic, 10 in titanium, and 5 in King Gold 18K, Hublot’s proprietary alloy that gives the metal a warm, enveloping hue. The case design is complemented by a rubber strap, a distinctive element of the Swiss maison, which blends elegance and sportiness in a perfect balance.

Each watch is powered by the HUB1110 automatic movement, a Hublot caliber commonly used in the 38 mm and 42 mm Classic Fusion models. Key specifications of the HUB1110 caliber include: a diameter of 25.60 mm, a thickness of 3.6 mm, a power reserve of 42 hours, and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz).
