At the beginning of this 2022, it is not only the infections that are increasing. In fact, just a few days before the start of the new year, Rolex confirmed information that had been around for a few weeks and, unfortunately, this is not good news for us.
The crowned house has formalized the increase in the list prices of almost its entire catalog of products and, even if we do not want to say that, our Andrea David has said so in his last article, the greatest increase occurred for sports models in steel.
In this article, we’ll walk you through the list price changes for the most popular Rolex models.
Rolex Explorer
The Explorer line unexpectedly saw the largest relative increase, settling between 11 and 12%.
Explorer ref. 124270 | +12.2%

This was the model that recorded the highest price change ever, going from € 6,100 to € 6,850. this is a variation of 750 euros, or 12.2%.
Explorer II ref. 226570 | +11%

Like its cousin, its price has also received an incredible increase, going from € 8,150 to € 9,050. Here too we are talking about an increase of 900 euros, or 11%.
Rolex Day-date
From the comparison between this collection and the previous one, we can see the differences between steel and gold models.
Ref. 228239 e ref. 228235 | +2.6%

Both references went from € 37,600 to € 38,600. An increase of € 1,000. 2.6%.
Rolex Milgauss
ref. 116400GV | +10%

Also in this case the percentage increase is in double figures. From € 7,950 to € 8,750.
Rolex Submariner
Ref. 124060 | +10.3%

From € 7,750 to € 8,550. Also here € 800 increase as for the milgauss.
Date ref. 126610LN | +10.2%

From € 8,750 to € 9,650.
Date ref. 126610LV | +10.9%

From € 9,150 to € 10,150. Here, too, an increase of € 1,000! If I think my cousin bought this watch at a discount for less than € 6,000 a few years ago …
Rolex Daytona
I know you have all been waiting for him, the king of all kings. And this is probably the line where we can best perceive the substantial difference between steel and gold.
Ref. 116500LN | +10.3%

For the increase in the list price of the Daytona 116500 we are talking about an increase of € 1,300, from € 12,600 to € 13,900.
Ref. 116515LN – 116519LN – 116518LN | +2.8%

For the gold counterpart, the increase is approximately € 700-800. From € 28,450 to € 29,250 for the 116515LN in rose gold, from € 28,450 to € 29,250 for the 116519LN in white gold, from € 27,250 to € 27,950 for the 116518LN in yellow gold.
Rolex GMT Master II
Ref. 126710BLNR e 126710BLRO | +11%

From € 9,050 to € 10,050 the version with Oyster bracelet and from € 9,250 to € 10,250 the one with Jubilee bracelet. An increase of € 1,000 also for this model.
Rolex Sky-dweller
Ref. 326934 | +2.8%

Among the steel models, the Sky-dweller the one that received the lowest percentage increase ever. From € 14.200 to € 14.600. Why do you think? It is probably because it is a reference that is still undervalued compared to the others and therefore a relatively lower pricing can shift people’s interest.
Rolex Yacht Master 40
Ref. 126622 | +2.6%

Da €11.450 a €11.750, appena €300 di incremento.
As for the Sky-dweller, also in this case the increase in the list price is really irrelevant compared to that recorded for the other steel models. Probably for the same reason mentioned above.
Ref. 126655 | +2.8%

From € 26,150 to € 26,850, an increase of € 700.
This is honestly one of my favorite models so I was pleased to see such a slight increase.
Rolex Sea-dweller
Ref. 126600 e 126603 | +10.8% e +9%

It returns in double figures … from € 11,150 to € 12,350 for steel and from € 14,950 to € 16,300. These two Sea-Dwellers enter the top 3.
Deepsea Ref. 126660 | +9,8%

From € 12,050 to € 13,250 for the Deepsea with black dial and from € 12,350 to € 13,550 for the Deepsea with blue dial. Again, 1,200 euros more than the 2021 list price.
