Considered one of the best drivers of all time, from an early age he approached the world of motorsports showing great talent, eventually winning the title of world champion three times. But Ayrton was not only this.
A distinguished and magnanimous man, dedicated to helping his fellow man and those in need; shortly after his death, his countless charitable donations that the driver made after each motor race were made public.

And it is precisely with these values in mind that the collaboration with the watchmaker TAG Heuer, of which the Formula 1 ace was an ambassador, as can be seen from the numerous shots with the Swiss maison’s timepieces on his wrist, came to life today in the creation of a legendary timepiece celebrating Ayrton’s incredible career.

The new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna
It is thanks to the Brazilian driver’s professional and spiritual legacy that TAG Heuer proudly presents the new Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna, a limited, sporty edition of the classic Carrera celebrating the legendary Formula 1 driver.
This exceptional timepiece, produced in only 500 pieces, is a tribute to Senna’s extraordinary career and an example of watchmaking mastery that blends cutting-edge design elements with racing-inspired details.
Crafted with care and attention to detail, the Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna incorporates numerous elements that evoke the personality and achievements of Ayrton Senna. Its forged carbon bezel, engraved with the name “Senna” and a tachymeter scale reaching 400 km/h, recall the speed and precision that characterized the Brazilian champion’s career.
The skeletonized dial, reimagined with an array of finishes and a checkered flag motif in the background, symbolizes Ayrton’s winning spirit. The grade 2 titanium case, with its sharp, gritty lugs, reflects a sophisticated three-dimensional architecture achieved through a combination of vertical brushing and sandblasted edges, while on the sides are a series of slots that accommodate the chronograph pump pushers and the logoed crown, suggesting lightness and dynamism to the eye of the beholder.
Set into the sub-dial at 9 o’clock is an“S,” a subtle but powerful reminder of the F1 legend, which is presented in a vivid yellow, in keeping with the color of the Senna brand logo. Also in the same hue are the counter spheres at 9 and 3 o’clock. At 6 o’clock, however, the precious tourbillon, also made of titanium parts, catches the eye.
At the inner edge of the dial is a blue and green bezel that houses the open chapter ring scale and applied steel “U”-shaped hour markers. These details give the watch a sporty and refined profile, perfectly in tune with the elegance of haute horlogerie.
On the back of the 44mm case, the visible case back houses the self-winding caliber TH20-09 (COSC-certified) with 28,800 vibrations per hour and reveals an iconic image of Senna in his helmet. This detail, along with engravings indicating the limited production of 500 pieces, underscores the exclusivity and prestige of this timepiece.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna is accompanied by a sturdy and comfortable blue rubber strap, reflecting the house’s constant quest for ergonomic perfection.

The launch of the Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna took place in Brazil, the birthplace of Ayrton Senna, with an event that honored his memory and his impact on the racing world.
The event’s special guest actor and TAG Heuer ambassador, Gabriel Leone, who played Brazilian driver Senna in the TV series of the same name (due out in late November 2024), wore the limited edition watch adding an authentic touch to this heartfelt tribute.
