With summer now behind us, the 2026 watch industry events calendar is set to enter some of its busiest months. Following the events that marked the first half of the year and the recent conclusion of Geneva Watch Days, the attention of enthusiasts and collectors is now turning to a series of events that will keep the industry busy through the end of 2026.
With major exhibitions, events for collectors, independent brands, and international gatherings, this fall will offer numerous opportunities to discover new collections, meet industry leaders, and get an up-close look at the trends shaping contemporary watchmaking.
October will kick off with a particularly busy schedule of events in Italy’s fashion and design capital. From October 2 to 4, Milan will host Milano Watch Week 2026, while from October 2 to 18, the Patek Philippe Watch Art Grand Exhibition will take place. These two events differ in format and content but are united by a shared desire to bring the public closer to the culture of watchmaking.
Milan Watch Week 2026
From October 2 to 4, 2026, Milan Watch Week will return to Palazzo Mezzanotte in Piazza Affari. Launched in 2021 with the goal of creating a new way to experience and showcase watchmaking, the event has gradually established itself as one of Italy’s most compelling events dedicated to contemporary watchmaking.
The 2026 edition will mark a new chapter for the event, bringing together Milano Watch Week and After Time into a single experience dedicated to collectors, professionals, enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to explore the world of watchmaking. The project stems from a desire to foster dialogue between the avant-garde of international watchmaking and the diverse expressions of Italian excellence, creating a meeting point for independent watchmakers, professionals, communities, and enthusiasts.
The success of previous editions has helped solidify the event’s role on the national scene. The first edition, held in 2024 at the Terrazza Martini, brought together over 20 independent brands and approximately 3,000 attendees from more than 30 countries, complementing the exhibition with a program of talks, activities, and experiences dedicated to the world of watchmaking. For three days, Palazzo Mezzanotte will once again serve as a meeting point for fine watchmaking, culture, and collecting.
What will make the 2026 edition even more interesting is the collaboration with Dubai Watch Week. During Milan Watch Week, the two organizations will join forces for a private event that will bring the spirit of one of the most important events on the international watchmaking calendar to the Lombard capital. While details of the initiative have not yet been revealed, the event will feature watches, collectors, and industry representatives, along with several surprises.
Patek Philippe Watch Art Grand Exhibition
Starting October 2, Milan will also be in the international spotlight thanks to the Patek Philippe Watch Art Grand Exhibition Milan 2026, which runs through October 18. This is the seventh edition of the major traveling exhibition through which the Geneva-based maison brings its world to some of the world’s leading cities.
After Dubai, Munich, London, New York, Singapore, and Tokyo, Patek Philippe has chosen Italy, a market that has historically been important to the brand. The exhibition will be held at CityOval, the historic building formerly known as Palazzo delle Scintille, in the heart of CityLife. With approximately 2,540 square meters of exhibition space, the Grand Exhibition in Milan will be the largest ever organized by the brand and will offer a journey through the history, craftsmanship, and savoir-faire of Patek Philippe.
The exhibition will feature approximately 500 timepieces, ranging from current collections to the most intricate pieces, accompanied by a section dedicated to the arts and crafts ofhaute artisanat. Enamel painting, cloisonné enamel, hand engraving, micro-marquetry, guilloché, and gemstone setting will take center stage in an exhibition where the maison’s artisans will also offer live demonstrations. The exhibition will also feature elements dedicated to the brand’s history, including a reconstruction of the famous Salon on Rue du Rhône, one of the most iconic locations in the Patek Philippe universe.
Also of particular significance will be the inclusion of 27 pieces of fine craftsmanship created specifically for the Milan edition. Featuring cloisonné enamel, engraving, guilloché, and micro-inlay, these pieces will represent one of the most fascinating expressions of the maison’s savoir-faire and will be showcased as part of the Grand Exhibition in Milan.
Significant attention will also be given to the Patek Philippe Museum, which will bring a selection of important historic timepieces to Milan. The exhibition will thus offer a journey through the evolution of watchmaking via the Antique Collection and the Patek Philippe Collection.
Grand Complications and Limited Editions
Among the most anticipated sections will be the one dedicated to complications, one of the areas in which Patek Philippe has built part of its reputation. The “Master of Sound” section will showcase some of the brand’s most important timepieces with striking mechanisms, including the Grandmaster Chime, with its twenty complications, and the Sky Moon Tourbillon.
There will also be in-depth features on movement production and research and development, with the aim of providing a closer look at the work behind the creation of Patek Philippe calibers.
As is traditional for the Grand Exhibitions, the event will also be accompanied by the launch of several limited editions, a feature that adds even more interest to an event that is already set to be one of the most important of the fall.
WatchTime New York 2026
From October 16 to 18, WatchTime New York will return to Manhattan at Gotham Hall, bringing together collectors, enthusiasts, professionals, and over 40 contemporary watch brands. The 2026 edition will be the largest in the event’s history, featuring a selection that includes established houses, independent brands, and brands particularly sought after by collectors.
The event format focuses on the direct relationship between the public and the industry. Visitors will be able to get an up-close look at new collections and independent creations, meet brand representatives, and participate in presentations, panel discussions, tastings, and community-focused activities.
Among the names featured are brands such as Armin Strom, Arnold & Son, Czapek, Fears, H. Moser & Cie., Laurent Ferrier, MB&F, Oris, Parmigiani Fleurier, Ressence, Urwerk, Voutilainen, and Zenith, alongside numerous other leading names in contemporary watchmaking.
The program will kick off on Friday, October 16, with a VIP evening, while the event will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday.
WatchTime Düsseldorf 2026
A week later, from October 23 to 25, the European calendar will continue with WatchTime Düsseldorf, hosted at the Rheinterrasse Düsseldorf by D.LIVE. The event will bring together over 70 exhibitors, including established watchmakers and independent watchmakers, offering a format strongly focused on fostering direct relationships between brands, collectors, and enthusiasts.
In addition to the opportunity to discover the latest offerings from the participating brands, the program includes watchmaking workshops, Expert Talks, presentations, and community-focused events. The goal is to allow visitors to engage not only with the timepieces themselves, but also with the people and expertise that make their creation possible. Rounding out the program will be the WatchTime Award, which helps make Düsseldorf a meeting point for the industry, independent watchmaking, and collecting.
2026 Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix
With the arrival of November, attention will once again turn to Switzerland, and, in particular, to Geneva, where the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) will reach its climax. Before the awards ceremony on November 7, 2026, however, the nominated timepieces will embark on a full-fledged international tour.
Following the inaugural stop in Mumbai, Bangkok will host the GPHG Nomination Tour 2026 from October 15 to 18. At The Forum, inside Gaysorn Amarin, 78 of the 84 nominated watches will be on display, offering collectors, enthusiasts, and the public the chance to get a close look at the competing timepieces.
The tour will then continue to Geneva, where, from October 29 to November 15, the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire will host all 84 nominated timepieces prior to the awards ceremony. The official ceremony will take place on November 7 at the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices, where the awards for the 26th edition and the prestigious Grand Prix de l’Aiguille d’Or will be presented.
Dubai Watch Week 2026
From November 18 to 22, 2026, all eyes will turn to Dubai for Dubai Watch Week, one of the most important events on the international watchmaking calendar. The event serves as a meeting place for major watchmakers, independent brands, collectors, and enthusiasts, with a format that goes beyond simply presenting new releases.
The value of Dubai Watch Week lies in its ability to highlight dialogue and watchmaking culture through meetings with industry leaders, discussions, presentations, and opportunities to explore the creations. This approach has helped make Dubai one of the leading hubs for high-end collecting and for the Middle Eastern market.
The 2026 edition also comes at a particularly interesting time for the relationship between Dubai and Milan: the collaboration with Milan Watch Week, scheduled to take place during the Milan event in October, confirms the desire to build an increasingly direct bridge between these two key players on the international watchmaking scene.

Milan, in particular, is gearing up to take center stage this October. Milan Watch Week, the Patek Philippe Watch Art Grand Exhibition, and the new partnership with Dubai Watch Week will draw a significant portion of international attention over the course of just a few days. This is a significant milestone for Italy, which continues to affirm its importance in the world of watch collecting and watchmaking culture.
So 2026 isn’t over yet, but the scheduled events already point to a particularly busy fall. For enthusiasts and collectors, this will be the perfect opportunity to take a closer look at what is shaping contemporary watchmaking and, perhaps, discover the next watch to add to their collection.
