This partnership reinterprets Seiko Instruments’ special Metronome, an analog timepiece designed as a true professional instrument for musicians. In addition to traditional timekeeping, the watch integrates both a metronome (with a range of 40-304 bpm at 41 fixed steps and Accuracy ±0.2%) and a pitch reference function (with 6-frequency output range: A-440Hz, A-442Hz, A-443Hz, B♭-440Hz, B♭-442Hz, B♭-443Hz and Accuracy ±1 cent) to quickly tune instruments.
The New Seiko Metronome Fragment Edition
The design is exquisitely Bauhaus and the proportions perfect with a 36.5 mm steel case, 39.6 mm lug-to-lug and 10 mm thickness. The dial features both Seiko and Fragment logos, while the case back bears engravings of the three realities.
This edition, compared to the 2022 series (ref. SMW006), is distinguished by the color variation of the information indicated in the flange (red/blue in the white configuration and white in the black configuration), the finish of the indexes, and the nylon Nato strap (excellent for ensuring practicality both in the studio and in everyday life). Each is delivered in a special PVC sleeve.
The Seiko Metronome Fragment Edition (PA50-00B0) is priced at 44,000 yen and is available in black and white variants. The collection is available for purchase at the V.A. boutique in Jingumae, Shibuya, as well as through the official online store and reserved for the Japanese market only.
