TAG Heuer Monaco Split Seconds Chronograph Air 1

News Dubai Watch Week 2025

A Monaco with a technical imprint: split-seconds chronograph, grade 5 titanium case, and a look reminiscent of racing. The Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph Air 1 fuses the Monaco’s historic square shape with an ultra-modern design inspired by hypercars: the case is built by Selective Laser Melting (SLM), with a honeycomb structure that reduces weight to just 85 g.

2N yellow gold details, such as the laser link under the bezel and the split-seconds pusher at 9 o’clock, contrast with high-tech elements. The TH81-00 movement, made in conjunction with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier, beats at 36,000 apertures/hour, offers 65-hour power reserve (55 with chronograph active), and incorporates the split-seconds function.

A black DLC bezel, transparent sapphire dial, and rubber strap with Alcantara inserts complete the bold aesthetic, while the sapphire crystal case back reveals high-end finishes, including beveled bridges and checkerboard “drapeau” decoration. Produced in only 30 pieces, it is an ultra-limited edition for a select few racing elite.

Girard Perregaux Laureate Three Gold Bridges

News Dubai Watch Week 2025

The Girard-Perregaux Laureato in all its full magnificence is called Three Gold Bridges (limited edition), and reinterprets one of the manufacture’s most iconic aesthetic codes: the three architectural gold bridges, carried on the dial side as a decorative and structural element. The Laureato case retains its taut lines and octagonal bezel, while the skeletonized movement reveals a three-dimensional construction of great depth. Satin-finished and hand-beveled bridges frame the barrel, time train, and balance wheel, celebrating GP’s mechanical artistry.

Tudor Ranger “White Dune”

News Dubai Watch Week 2025

The true fox of the desert is the new Tudor Ranger “Dune White,” which updates the aesthetics of the Maison’s classic field-watch with a matte sand-white dial with a strong vintage character. Black hour markers and Arabic numerals, along with highly legible arrow-shaped hands, maintain the model’s historical imprint. Offered in 36 mm and 39 mm, it retains the satin-finished case, sturdy crown and functional design that distinguishes the Ranger line. It is powered by the automatic calibers MT5402 or MT5400 (depending on diameter), COSC-certified and with 70 hours of power reserve.

Chopard L.U.C. Grand Strike

News Dubai Watch Week 2025

With a sparkling 43mm white gold harmonic case, Chopard dazzles with the L.U.C Grand Strike; a mechanical orchestra playing the music of time. This watch is a masterpiece of sound complications: it includes grande sonnerie, petite sonnerie, minute repeater and even a tourbillon. The entire striking system uses sapphire crystal gongs, a choice that ensures a very pure and clear timbre.

The L.U.C 08.03-L caliber, developed in-house, has as many as 686 components and required more than 11,000 hours of R&D to arrive at its final form. Five of the ten patents employed were developed specifically for this timepiece. Two barrels provide the energy: one powers the hour movement (about 70 hours of autonomy), the other is dedicated to the chime (up to 12 hours in grande sonnerie mode).

Bvlgari Mattar Bin Lahej X Octo Finissimo

News Dubai Watch Week 2025

A Middle Eastern work of art: the new Bulgari Octo Finissimo “Mattar Bin Lahej” is a limited edition with a deeply cultural flavor. The 40 mm case in sandblasted titanium (only 5 mm thick) is fully decorated with laser engravings of Arabic calligraphy, which also extend to the dial and bracelet.

The engraved words are from a quote by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum: “The future will be for those who can imagine, design and implement it… the future can be designed and built today.” Inside beats the ultra-thin BVL 138 caliber, equipped with a micro-rotor, 60-hour power reserve and haute horlogerie finishing (Côtes de Genève, perlage, anglage). In short, it is a refined fusion of minimalist design, Swiss technique and Emirati artistic identity.

Gérald Charles Maestro GC39 25th Anniversary & Maestro 9.0 Tourbillon Tiger’s Eye

The Gérald Charles Maestro GC39 25th Anniversary is an elegant and modern tribute to the design of Gérald Genta. Its central dial is made of lapis lazuli, framed by a micro-chemical “meta-guilloché” pattern that catches the light as if studded with baguette-diamond. The polished Grade 5 titanium case measures 42 × 42 mm and houses an Manufacture 4.0 automatic movement with anti-clockwise jumping hours and concentric minutes.

The gold rotor bears the 25th anniversary logo, while the vulcanized blue rubber strap has Clous de Paris motif. This edition is limited to 100 pieces and offers a 50-hour power reserve with 100 m water resistance.

For those who prefer the warm colors of the “Tiger’s Eye” stone, the Maestro 9.0 Tourbillon Tiger’s Eye is what will warm your heart; an extremely exclusive edition (only 3 pieces), launched in collaboration with Ahmed Seddiqi during Dubai Watch Week 2025. Its golden and brown streaks dominating the scene without indexes, while the baton hands are treated with white Super-LumiNova.

The 39 × 41 mm case has a brown “Colormix” treatment, paired with a sand-colored rubber strap. At the center beats the automatic caliber GCA9000 (4.8 mm thick, 196 components), with a 6-hour flying tourbillon housed in a titanium cage in the shape of the GC logo, 22 K rose gold rotor with beehive motif, 50-hour power reserve, and stop-seconds system for precise regulation.

Daniel Roth Tourbillon Platinum

An elegant tribute to Roth’s original vision, reinterpreted by La Fabrique du Temps. The 38.6 × 35.5 mm double ellipse case in platinum (9.2 mm thick) expresses nobility and finesse, while the workmanship on this metal is particularly demanding. The white gold dial, handcrafted with fine-striped guilloché on an anthracite ground, is complemented by a secondary disc in sterling silver with Roman numerals.

At the heart of the timepiece is the manual caliber DR001, with one-minute tourbillon, haute horlogerie finishing (anglage, perlage, Côtes de Genève) and 80 hours of power reserve. The beige calfskin strap softens the cool tone of the platinum, offering a refined balance.

Biver Automatique in 11 variants

Biver’s “Automatique” collection, expanded in this edition of Dubai Watch Week 2025, includes 11 new variants with natural stone dials and artisanal watchmaking techniques. Stones include lavender jade, impalpable and delicate, and blue quartzite, with a cool, marbled texture.

Some references include baguette diamond hour markers or blue sapphires, a refined addition that enhances the luminescence of each stone. All models share the JCB-003 automatic caliber, with a 22 K gold micro-rotor and 65-hour power reserve, encased in an elegant 39 mm case resistant to 80 m.

Gérald Genta Gentissima Oursin 41

The Gérald Genta Gentissima Oursin 41 is a bold reinterpretation of Genta’s famous “oursin” (sea urchin) design: a 41 mm case in sandblasted grade 5 titanium, embellished with 234 hand-mounted white gold beads. The dial is carved from a thin slice of blue or green meteorite, with Widmanstätten texture making each one unique. Polished gold hands and indexes filled with pink Super-LumiNova (a tribute to Genta’s favorite color) enhance legibility.

It is powered by automatic caliber GG-005 (Zenith Elite base), with a 50-hour power reserve. The case has an octagonal shaped sapphire crystal that amplifies visual depth, and the sapphire case back reveals the yellow gold rotor. The rubber strap (matching the tone of the dial) makes it sporty yet refined.

H.Moser & Cie. Streamliner Perpetual Moon Concept Meteorite

The H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Perpetual Moon Meteorite is one of those watches that force you to stop for a moment. The dial, carved from a Gibeon meteorite fragment, seems alive: the Widmanstätten textures, emphasized by golden hues, change with the light as if telling their own thousand-year story. The 40 mm Streamliner case, soft and fluid on the wrist, accompanies an integrated bracelet that glides like silk. Inside, the caliber HMC 270 animates one of the most poetic moons in modern watchmaking, precise almost to the point of improbability. It is a watch that combines technique and emotion, leaving a lasting impression.

Audemars Piguet and its smart charging box.

Audemars Piguet and the Dubai Future Foundation have created something beyond a simple “box”: a smart box capable of setting the time and calendar of the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar by itself. Just place the watch down, close the lid, and let it do the rest. A microcamera reads the dial, AI interprets each indication, and tiny actuators adjust everything precisely. In five minutes the watch is ready, without stress or risk. It is still a prototype, but the idea is fascinating: a sculptural, technological and surprisingly useful object, especially for those who want to enjoy their AP without worrying about adjustments.

Ulysse Nardin X Urwerk UR-Freak

The UR-Freak, born of the unexpected meeting between Urwerk and Ulysse Nardin, is one of those watches that makes you smile even before you understand its complexity. It mixes Urwerk’s futuristic audacity with Ulysse Nardin’s technical experimentation: satellite hours, flying carousel and a huge silicon oscillator that seems to breathe under the glass. The UN-241 movement, powered by the Grinder system, turns every gesture into energy. No crown: here everything is regulated by the bezel, in pure “Freak” style. The sandblasted titanium case frames an idea rather than a watch. And that is precisely what makes it irresistible.

De Bethune DB25 Perpetual Sky

The De Bethune DB25 Perpetual Sky is one of those pieces that captivates you even before you understand its mechanics. Wearing it is like wearing a fragment of a starry night on your wrist: the blued titanium dial, dotted with white gold stars, seems to move with the light. The spherical moon, accurate for more than a century, adds an almost magical touch. Despite the visual poetry, the DB2005V3 movement is solid, with five days of autonomy. Very light thanks to its titanium case, it is a watch that combines emotion and technique with rare elegance.

Oris ProPilot Desert Edition

TheOris ProPilot Desert Edition celebrates the spirit of aviation with a “desert sand” twist. The 41mm case, made of carbon fiber and steel with a gray PVD coating, is lightweight yet sturdy, designed to withstand everyday adventure. The “sand-beige” dial features high-contrast black numerals, lume hands, and red detailing for an instrumental aesthetic. The Oris 733-1 automatic movement (Sellita SW 200-1 base) offers 41 hours of reserve, with instant date display. The strap is hybrid, fabric and rubber, designed for durability and comfort. Water-resistant to 100 m, it is also a tribute to Oris’ partnership with Coulson Aviation, which specializes in aerial firefighting.
