The re-opening of Omega’s boutique in Milan has been recently announced
After being temporarily closed for its restyling before summer, it is now officially open to host all kind of clients and enthusiasts. During these few months it moved in Via della Spiga, but do not be fooled, it came back in Via Montenapoleone 9 already.
We where hosted by them yesterday to discover it first person and we must admit they made a great job.
As you enter, the ground floor is still familiar, you can stay assured that the elegant and fine vibes that characterize Omega’s style is still there. This year’s theme is certainly James Bond and you immediately get it by the billboards and decorations inside and outside the Omega boutique. We guess after waiting so long for the movie, it is the perfect time to double down on 007.
The past of the boutique at the corner of the Fashion District
Taking a step back, every milanese guy knows that this corner where now stands Omega’s boutique is a witness of the glorious past of the city.
Indeed, here it was established the historic G. Lorenzi boutique.
Lately, the space was bought by the Swatch Group and they put a shop there for a while.
In the end, in 2015 the Group decided that an Omega boutique would have fit a lot better in the most luxurious street of the city.
The new design of the boutique
The boutique was refurnished following the iconic colors of the maison, from gold to red and than softer color like cream and wood. The spaces still consists of 3 floors: -1, ground floor and +1.
Maybe the most important and visibile innovation is the first floor, specifically the private room. Once being not that roomy, it is now a lot more spacious and welcoming. This is the part of the boutique where people can sit down, talk and of course check some watches out more privately.
Here people can also have a drink or a coffee as here we can find a fully equipped bar area.
Let’s talk about the -1 floor. Before the renovation this part of the boutique contained a showing station. However, it was a little bit hidden. Entering the area now, characterized by an amazing vaulted ceiling, we have the new watchmaker station, here clients can see the watchmaker while working.
Omega’s boutique in Montenapoleone is a real landmark in the fashion district. Would you come with us for another visit?
