Written by:Andrea C.|

Sylvester Stallone sold 5 of his watches, 2 of which were worn while shooting his best films.
Let’s see the results of this little collection that went up for auction today, December the 12th 2020, at Phillips’ RACING PULSE in New York.

LOT 47

Let’s open un this chapter with a special watch, something different from all the others you’ll see today.

It is a PAM 5218-201/a Luminor “Pre-vendôme Logo” worn in the film “Daylight”.
About this watch, the actor says: “I did a film called Daylight, and I wanted to wear a watch that no one had ever seen. I strapped this on my wrist that day and didn’t take it off until the end of filming… This watch is a star. ” —Sylvester Stallone

This is a limited edition of 677 exemplars. The estimate was €33,900-67,800 but it sold for 214,200$, a great way to start!

With this number we saw a Richard Mille RM 59-01 Tourbillon Yohan Blake. The case of this watch is made of a translucent composite with carbon nanotubes.

Stallone ‘s watch is 11 of a limited edition of 50.

The estimate, that was of €253,000-505,000, was a little lower of the final result… a good 816,500$ is far better.

Aggressive and impactful, that’s for sure… How much did it sell for? 998 thousand Dollars!

LOT 51

Richard Mille RM 25-01 Manual Winding Tourbillon Chronograph Adventure. Does it sound familiar?

This watch was created in collaboration with the actor himself, to answer the question “what watch would Rambo wear?”.

From an estimate of €211,000-421,000, this time we really almost doubled it. A (pretty astonishing) of 937.500$ is probably due to the coherence of the watch… A watch made for and with Stallone at an auction of Stallone ‘s watches. Nothing else to be said about it!

Sylvester Stallone ‘s watches: a great memorabilia

Each watch is accompanied by a handwritten note from Stallone, as we can see in this beautiful picture.
It’s not just a way to get a good timepiece but also a great occasion for collectors who are Stallone’s fans. And we saw that this RACING PULSE auction had a few of them!
