The Venice Film Festival (Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica), founded in 1932 by Giuseppe Volpi as part of the Venice Biennale, is the oldest film festival in the world and one of the “Big Five,” along with Cannes, Berlin, Toronto and Sundance. The 2025 edition (the 82nd), directed by Alberto Barbera, was held at the Venice Lido from Aug. 27 to Sept. 6, with Paolo Sorrentino’s The Grace as the opening film and Jim Jarmusch’s Father Mother Sister Brother awarded the Golden Lion.
This is where cinema in all its forms is celebrated: from the glamour of premieres to the art of restoration, from experimental contemporary to new immersive technologies.

In this context, watches become an integral part of the show and silently tell the personality, tastes and identity of each celebrity.
