Four Rolex watches, four one-of-a-kind pieces, and no official estimates. In London, Phillips in Association with Bacs & Russo is auctioning “Spring,” “Summer,” “Autumn,” and “Winter”, the four Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Four Seasons models introduced in 2026.
The sale sets a precedent for Rolex: it is the first charity auction organized by the company, and all proceeds will be donated to the Roger Federer Foundation and Re, an organization co-founded by Leonardo DiCaprio.
The Four Seasons are being offered separately, in four distinct lots. This decision assigns a market value to each model for the first time and allows for a direct comparison of the four configurations.
Starting at 4 million francs at the London auction
The Four Seasons made their debut at Watches and Wonders 2026. According to reports, the original plan was to sell the four watches as a single set for approximately 4 million Swiss francs.
Interest quickly exceeded expectations: more than 1,000 potential buyers are said to have approached Rolex about purchasing the set of four. The company therefore decided to take a different approach, entrusting the four Daytonas to Phillips for a charity auction.
The decision to separate them makes the result particularly interesting from a collector’s perspective as well. Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter share the same provenance and the same degree of uniqueness, while it is the bidders who determine the price differences between one configuration and another.
Rolex Daytona Four Seasons: All Auction Results
Spring – Reference: 126599 SAVL
Final price: €7.9 million
Crafted in 18-karat white gold, the Spring features a chrysoprase dial paired with lepidolite sub-dials. The bezel is set with 36 trapezoid-cut purple sapphires, a shade echoed in the hour markers, while 54 brilliant-cut diamonds adorn the lugs and crown guards.
Summer – Reference: 126595 SARO
Final price: €12 million
The Summer model features 18-karat Everose gold, with a turquoise dial and “heart of ruby” sub-dials. The bezel is set with 36 trapezoid-cut pink sapphires, accompanied by matching hour markers.
Fall – Reference: 126598 TML
Final price: €11.9 million
For the Autumn collection, Rolex has chosen18-karat yellow gold, a mookaite dial, and chrysoprase sub-dials. The bezel features 36 trapezoid-cut green tourmalines, which are echoed in the hour markers.
Winter – Reference: 126596 SABV
Final price: €11.6 million
Winter is the only Four Seasons model crafted from 950 platinum. The blue opal dial is paired with lapis lazuli sub-dials and a bezel set with 36 sapphires in shades ranging from blue to fuchsia. The hour markers are diamonds.
All four feature the Rolex 4131 automatic caliber, the movement introduced in the Cosmograph Daytona in 2023, with a power reserve of approximately 72 hours.
How much is a Daytona worth when there’s only one in existence?
Rolex and Phillips have not released any official estimates for the four lots. The reference point remains the approximately 4 million Swiss francs initially associated with the entire set, a figure that allows us to view the auction results from an even more interesting perspective.
“Spring” sold for €7.9 million, “Summer” for €12 million, “Autumn” for €11.9 million, and “Winter” for €11.6 million. The total thus reached €43.4 million, with the Daytona “Estate” Reference: 126595 SARO taking the title as the most expensive Four Seasons watch of the evening.
This fact takes on particular significance given the nature of these four watches. We are not talking about a limited edition or a configuration available upon request: each model exists as a single piece, crafted directly by Rolex.
The London auction thus establishes a public valuation for the Four Seasons and, above all, provides an unprecedented benchmark for understanding the extent to which uniqueness, provenance, and desirability can influence the contemporary Rolex market.
