As it does every year, the LVMH group decided to celebrate the many watch brands that are part of its conglomerate through a week entirely dedicated to them.
The event was physically supposed to take place in Bel Air, California; however, due to the fires that are affecting the area, the group decided to cancel the original organization and split the initiative into two separate, shorter events: in New York, on January 21 and 22, and then in Paris, on January 30 and 31.
Among the many new products presented at these events, those of TAG Heuer stand out in particular, which, on the strength of its success in recent years and the recent announcement of its entry into F1, has decided to introduce several new versions of its flagship chronograph, the Carrera, into its catalog.
Let’s discover together, in detail, the features of these new timepieces!
TAG Heuer Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye

Celebrating the historic link between TAG Heuer and Porsche, the first two models we tell you about are born out of this collaboration.
These two limited-edition Carrera watches, with 42 mm case diameters, take their inspiration from the instrument counters supplied by Heuer for the Porsche 911, which competed in the historic 1965 Monte Carlo Rally. The car entered in the race, number 147, was based on a slightly modified road car not designed for competition. Despite difficult practice conditions that year, the 147 managed to exceed all expectations, finishing an impressive fifth overall and second in class.

The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronosprint x Porsche Rallye pays tribute to this very great achievement, which marked the history of the German automaker’s iconic model.
Two versions will be produced: one in steel, with a matching bracelet, and a gold model with a strap. The caliber that animates them is the manufacture automatic TH20-08 capable of reviving the acceleration of the historic Stuttgart supercar. Indeed, on the dial, the minute track part stands out in red up to 8.4 seconds, the time it took Porsche 911 number 147 to go from 0 to 100 km/h, improving on the performance of the 1963 model 901.
Heir to the earlier Carrera Chronosprint, 911 examples of the steel Chronosprint and only 11 of the yellow gold model will be made of this new version.
TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph and Chronograph Tourbillon Purple

We now shift our attention to two other models that we are sure will be appreciated because of the splash of color they add to the Carrera Glassbox collection.
The first is the classic manufacture chronograph with a 39mm steel case that we have come to know over the years, with date and continuous seconds at six o’clock, and the other two chronograph counters at three and nine o’clock. What makes it truly unique this time is a brand new shade of purple, never before used by the brand. This particular shade varies greatly depending on the light, going from a lighter purple to a decidedly darker one when light rays are reduced.

The second model, featuring the same fascinating dial and a 42mm-diameter steel case, is distinguished by a movement equipped with a tourbillon that occupies the space of the six o’clock subdial. In this case, the watch will be produced in a limited edition of only 200 pieces.
TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph with diamond markers and bezel

As the latest novelties presented by TAG Heuer for the Carrera line, two creations designed for the female audience stand out.
These new timepieces, with a 39mm-diameter steel case, retain the features of the classic Carrera Glassbox chronograph, but are distinguished by a novel look featuring a bezel and hour markers embellished with brilliant-cut diamonds. The colors chosen, a pastel pink and a deep blue respectively, offer the opportunity to choose between a more feminine and a more elegant version.

These two timepieces perfectly fill a gap in the TAG Heuer Carrera Glassbox catalog for the female audience, which until now did not have a dedicated chronograph.
