Welcome back dear friends of IWS, a surprising and unexpected piece of news has arrived in the world of watchmaking that will surely make all Nerazzurri fans go wild with joy, and perhaps turn their noses up at other soccer fans. I am talking about the Tudor Black Bay 58 “Inter.”
As you may know, in the Serie A soccer league, for every 10 titles won, the team earns a star to be permanently affixed above its symbol. This year, Inter managed to win their second star with a full five days to spare! To celebrate this fantastic milestone, Tudor and Inter are combining their spirits to create a brand new timepiece.
The New Tudor Black Bay 58 Inter
On the occasion of the Nerazzurri winning their 20th Scudetto, the two entities joined forces to amaze everyone and the result is an unprecedented Black Bay 58 with some very important peculiarities. First of all, the shaded ombré dial that changes from black outline to bright blue undoubtedly recalls Inter’s colors. Also on the dial then we find, with gold printing, the inter emblem with the newly-conquered star also attached.
To enrich this celebratory reference even more, turning the watch over reveals a commemorative engraving on the steel back to commemorate the success.
As for the rest of the watch, the 39 mm diameter case is a nod to the 1950s Tudor and its first “Big Crown.” On the case we find an aluminum rotating bezel with a black insert and gold detailing that immediately hints at vintage vibes. The satin-finished steel crown is engraved with Tudor’s iconic rose.
Also on the dial we find the gold motif that enhances the hour markers and Snowflake hands equipped with SuperLuminova to ensure maximum visibility even in the least favorable conditions.
In fact, the watch’s DNA is also fully respected through its guaranteed water resistance to 200m.
The watch has a riveted three-link steel bracelet with polished and satin finishes that enrich its aesthetics by restoring a subdued and refined play of light, but it is also sold with a Jacquard fabric strap with Inter blue stripe.
The MT5402 Caliber

The Tudor Black Bay 58 Inter is a limited edition of 1908 pieces in tribute to Inter’s founding year and will be available at Tudor Boutiques and authorized Tudor retailers. The list price is EUR 4,350.00 and also includes the Jacquard fabric strap.
Final Thoughts
Tudor’s introduction of such a watch came as a complete surprise to anyone in the watchmaking world and beyond. The Maison had for the past few years particularly strengthened its ties to sporting circles, from sailing competitions to cycling and had more cautiously entered soccer with partnerships with Inter Miami FC (apparently the Maison has a special affection for teams named Inter) and Beckham.
With this unexpected new timepiece, Tudor cements his commitment to soccer and to Italy by paying tribute to the feat of one of Italy’s most supportive teams. It is certainly not a “popular” choice but a clear statement of what Tudor has in mind for the coming years.
